Safety Inspection Procedure
- ① Sampling
- ▶Sampling based on the sampling plan, usually 1-2 hours before auction
- ② Safety Inspection
(QuECHERS Test) -
- ▶Pesticide residue screening conducted in the safety inspection lab (QuECHERS Test).
- ③ Suspension of Distribution
(Non-compliance) -
- ▶If contamination is suspected : Suspend distribution of the affected agricultural product.
- ▶If deemed safe : Allow distribution to proceed.
- ④ Request and Conduct
Detailed Inspection -
- ▶Suspected products are sent to the Seoul Health and Environment Research Institute for a detailed inspection.
- - Tests include analysis of 470 types of pesticides and harmful substances.

Inspection Results -
- ▶Results are communicated by the Seoul Health and Environment Research Institute between 2 PM and 4 PM on the same day.
